On November 8th, 2024, GHAF organized a heartwarming community outreach event at Vijeyrathna Elders Home in Galle, Rathgama, Sri Lanka. The event aimed to support the elderly, including those with disabilities, by providing essential aid to improve their living conditions.

As part of our commitment to the welfare of the elderly, GHAF donated five high-quality mosquito nets to ensure the health and comfort of the residents. These nets will help protect them from mosquito-borne diseases, particularly in the tropical climate of Sri Lanka, where such health concerns are prevalent.

The event was an opportunity to not only provide physical aid but also to offer a sense of care and community to the elderly residents of Vijeyrathna Elders Home. We are grateful for the chance to make a positive impact and look forward to continuing our support for the most vulnerable members of society.
