On January 1st, 2023, GHAF organized a compassionate outreach event in the Matara District, Dhikwella, Hunnadeniya, Sri Lanka, where we provided dry food parcels to four blind and disabled families in the area. These parcels contained essential food items, carefully selected to support their nutritional needs.

In our commitment to ensuring these families received the aid directly, GHAF volunteers personally visited each household and handed the food parcels to the recipients, ensuring they had everything they needed for a better quality of life. The families expressed their heartfelt gratitude, and the event served as a reminder of the power of community care and support.

GHAF remains dedicated to reaching out to those in need, especially the most vulnerable, and is proud to have made a difference in the lives of these families in Hunnadeniya.
