On the 18th of October 2024, the Global Humanitarian Aid Foundation organized a compassionate community outreach event in Heenatiyana village, Minuwangoda, Sri Lanka. This village faces significant economic challenges, and many families struggle to meet even their basic food needs. Understanding the hardship faced by the villagers, we decided to provide 100 fish buns along with refreshing Sunquick cool drinks to bring comfort and nourishment to those in need.

As the community gathered to receive their meals, the joy and gratitude on their faces were evident. The simple yet fulfilling meal was met with heartfelt blessings from the villagers, who expressed their deep appreciation for the event. It was a moment of shared joy and connection, as the Foundation’s initiative not only alleviated hunger but also brought a sense of hope and solidarity to the village.

This outreach serves as a reminder of the importance of providing for those less fortunate, and the Foundation is committed to continuing its efforts to support communities across Sri Lanka, one step at a time.
