On July 8th, 2024, the
Global Humanitarian Aid Foundation organized a heartfelt and impactful event to
support the elderly residents of Dhammaloka Village, Minuwangoda, Sri Lanka. In
a collective effort to improve the well-being of senior citizens in the
community, the foundation provided hot, freshly cooked corn to the elderly,
ensuring they received a warm, nourishing meal.
The event was part of
the foundation’s ongoing commitment to address the needs of vulnerable
populations, particularly the elderly, who often face challenges accessing nutritious
food. Volunteers worked tirelessly to cook and distribute the corn, ensuring
that each elderly resident received a meal in a timely and compassionate
manner. This initiative was met with gratitude from the local community, as it
provided not only sustenance but also a sense of connection and care for the
senior citizens of Dhammaloka Village. The Global Humanitarian Aid Foundation
continues to strive toward making a meaningful difference in the lives of those
in need, one act of kindness at a time.
