පීඩනයට පත් වූ අතර ඉන් පසුව රටේ පැන නැගුණු දේශපාලන
අස්ථාවර භාවය නිසා රට වේගයෙන් කඩා වැටෙන්නට පටන් ගති.
ආර්ථික සහ සමාජීය වශයෙන් දැඩි පිරිහීමකට ලක්වුනි.මිනිසුන්ගේ
ජීවන රටාව වෙනස් මුහුණු වරක් ගන්නට පටන් ගැනුණි.එබැවින් මූලික
අවශ්‍යතා වූ ආහාරපාන, ඔෞෂධ,කිරිපිටි, ඇඳුම් පැලදුම්,පොත් පත්
ආදී දේවල් තම තමන්ට සපයා ගැනීමට නොහැකි තත්වයක් උදා වුණි.
ගොවිතැන් කටයුතුද දැඩි පරිහානියකට ඇද වැටෙන්නට විය. ගෑස්, විදුලිය, ඉන්ධන හිඟතාවයද සමග බඩු මිල වේගයෙන් ඉහළ යන්නට පටන් ගති.රට අති උද්ධමනකාරී තත්වයකට පත්වුනි.මිනිසුන්ගේ රැකියා අහිමි විය.ව්‍යාපාර වැසී යමින් පවතින අතර ඒවායේ එදිනෙදා රැකියා කරන කම්කරුවන්ටද රැකියා අහිමි විය.ගෙවල් වල බදු ගෙවීමට පවා නොහැකිව ගෙවල්වලින් මහ මගට වැටුණි. ආබාධිත අයට රෝදපුටු නොමැති කමින්ද, වැසිකිලි පහසුකම් නොමැති කමින්ද විවිධ දුෂ්කරතාවලට පත්ව ඇත.
මේ නිසා ගම් නියම් ගම්වල පමණක් නොව නගරබද මිනිසුන්ටද විවිධ අපහසුතාවයන්ට ලක්වන්නට විය.පාරවල්වල බඩගින්නේ උද්ඝෝෂණය කරන්නන් අරගල කරමින් පවතී. දිනකට එක් වේලක් පමණක් ආහාර ගන්නා පිරිස් බොහෝය.ඔවුන් ඉතා දුක්ඛිත තත්වයකට පත්ව ඇත.පාසල් යන ළමුන්ට කිරි වීදුරුවක් පවා දෙන්නට නොහැකි තත්වයකට දෙමාපියන් පත්ව ඇත.එබැවින් පාසලේදී ළමුන් දිනකට බොහෝ දෙනෙකු ක්ලාන්ත වී ඇද වටෙන තත්වයක් උදා වී ඇත.කිරිපිටි හිඟකමද තදින් දනෙන්නට විය.එබැවින් මන්දපෝෂණයද වැඩි වෙමින් පවතී.
රෝහල්වල බෙහෙත් ඔෞෂධ හිග වන්නට විය.රෝගීන් මියැදෙන්නට විය. හෘද රෝග සදහාද අවශ්‍ය කරන බෙහෙත් නැත.පිිළිිකා රෝහලේ රෝගීන්ට දැඩි ඔෞෂධ හිගයකට මුහුන පෑමට සිදුව ඇත. නේවාසිකව ප්‍රතිකාර කරන රෝගීන් සහ දුර බැහැර ප්‍රදේශවලින් ප්‍රතිකාර ගැනීමට එන රෝගීන්ටද රෝහලේ ඔෞෂධ හිඟතාවය නිසා අධික මිල ගනන් වලට ගැනීමට සිදුව ඇති බැවින් රෝගීන් මහත් පීඩාවකට පත්ව ඇත.වකුගඩු රෝගීන්ද බහුලය.ඒ අවශ්‍යතා මෙතැකයි කියා කිව නොහැක.

Sri Lanka was a developing country but then never was an
economically low situation as it is today. The country was
affected by the covid pandemic and also economic instability.
The country started to economically deteriorate very rapidly. The
country suffered economically and socially and fell to very
economic levels. People simply found it impossible to provide
themselves with the necessary food, clothes, medicines, books,
and other necessities to live.
The country’s agricultural situation also dropped to unprecedented levels. There was an acute shortage of gas and electricity and with that, the cost of living too rose sky-high and the country reached very high inflation levels. People lost their jobs; business organizations closed their businesses and people earning daily wages lost their livelihoods. People couldn’t pay their house rent and were thrown onto the road. There were no sanitary facilities or wheelchairs for the disabled and the people faced immense economic difficulties.
Due to this not only people in rural area but in the urban areas faced innumerable problems. People who are angry started to protest on the roads. There are people who take only one meal a day and are facing extreme poverty. The school children are not given even a glass of milk by the parents and as a result many faint while in the school. There is a severe shortage of milk, food and malnutrition have rapidly risen.

කඩිනම් වැඩ පිළිවෙලක් ක්‍රියාත්මක වුවහොත් රෝගීන් ජීවිත
බොහොමයක් බේරා ගත හැකි වනු ඇත.දරුවෙකුට උණ රෝගයක් සෑදුන
විට දීමට පැරසිටමෝල් පැනඩෝල් පෙත්තක් තරම් නොමැත. රෝහල්වල
කෑම හිඟයක්ද පවතී. ළමා රෝහල්වලද අඩුපාඩුකම් රාශියකි.ආගමික
සිද්ධස්ථානවලට දානය සොයා ගැනීමට නොහැකි තත්වයක් උදා වී ඇත.
ළමා නිවාස වලට වැඩිහිටි නිවාස වලට,අඳ ගොලු බිහිරි ආබාධිත නිවාස වලට,අඩුපාඩු රැසකි.ආහාර පාන,කිරිපිටි,බෙහෙත්,අදුම්,කොට්ට,මෙට්ට, ඇඳ ඇතිරිලි,තුවා,සබන්,රෙදි සෝදන ද්‍රව්‍ය,දත් බෙහෙත්,බුරුසු, පාවහන්,සනීපාරක්ෂක තුවා,යට ඇඳුම්,පිරිසිදු කිරීමේ ද්‍රව්‍ය ආදී දේවල් ය. අඳගොලු බිහිරි පාසල් වල බ්‍රේල් ක්‍රමයට ඉගෙන ගන්නා ළමුන්ට ඉගෙනුම් උපකරණ වලද දැඩි හිඟයක් පවතී.
කෙසේ වෙතත් දිනෙන් දින උග්‍ර වන මනුෂ්‍යයින්ගේ මෙම මානුෂීය අවශ්‍යතා දෙස බලා සිටිය නොහැක.හද කම්පා කරවන සිද්ධීන් එමටය.කිසිවක් කර කියා ගත නොහැකි තත්වයක් උද්ගත වී ඇත. කාට කියන්නද මොනව කරන්නද කියා ලත වෙති.අතේ තියෙන දේ උදුරා ගෙන ගොස් තමන්ගේ කුස ගින්න නිවා ගන්නට තරම් ඇතැම් මිනිසුන් පෙළඹී ඇත.මහ දවල් මහ පාරේ මිනිසුන් බඩගිනි බව කියමින් බඩගිනිය් කියා කෑ ගසමින් යන තත්වයකට දැන් පත්ව ඇත.රටේ සියල්ල විනාශ වී හමාරය.බේරා ගැනීමට අපට ඉතිරිව ඇත්තේ මිනිස් ජීවිත පමණකි.

As there was a severe shortage of medicine in the hospitals many
patients have died. There is no medicine for cardiology patients.
The patients getting treatments in the hospitals and the patients
who come from far must buy medicine at a huge cost from outside
due to the dearth of medicine in the hospitals. All the patients
specially the kidney patients suffer immensely due to this situation.
The people wants are innumerable.
The whole country is devastated, we have only human lives to save. This is the time we need international help urgently. We can only save the country through foreign help. There will be a terrible calamity if they cannot be helped now. What we can see around is human suffering in Branson forms. People do not have proper clothing or schoolbooks, and many have stopped schooling. They are unable to pay at least the daily bus fare.

මිලියන 22 වන ලංකාවේ ජනගහනයෙන් මිලියන 6.7කට ඉතා කඩිනමින් මානූශීය අවශ්‍යතා අවශ්‍ය වී ඇත. ජාත්‍යන්තර රටවල සහයෝගය නැතිව මේ මිනිසුන් ජීවත් කරන්නට නොහැකිය.
බැලූ බැලූ සෑම තැනකම ඇසෙන්නට දකින්නට ලැබෙන්නේ මිනිසුන්ගේ කුසගින්නේ මැසිවිලිය,ලෙඩ දුක් වල මැසිවිලිය,අවශ්‍යතාවල මැසිවිලිය.බොහෝමයක් ප්‍රදේශවල ලමුන් ජීවත් වන්නේ ඇඟට වස්ත්‍රයක් නැතිවය.මේ වන විට පාසල් ළමුන්ගේ පාසල් ගමන නැවතී ඇත. බසයට ගෙවීමට දිනකට රුපියල් 50,70 ක් අවශ්‍ය බැවින් එය ගෙවා ගැනීමට අපහසු වී ඇත.
දුෂ්කර ප්‍රදේශවලට ජල ප්‍රශ්නය උග්‍ර වී ඇත.වතුර ගෙනෙන බවුසරයෙන් ලීටරයකට රුපියල් 4ක් ගෙවා වතුර මිලට ගැනීමට සිදුවී ඇති බැවින් උග්‍ර ජල හිඟයකටද මුහුන දී ඇත. පන්සලට දෙන දානයද නවතා ඇත.සමහර දිනවලදී මඤ්ඤොක්කා අලයක්, රොටියක් දානය සඳහා පිළියෙල කර පූජා කලද දන් ඒකත් නතර වී ඇත. පැල්පත්වල අසරණ වී ඇති පවුල් එමටය.සබන් කැටය රුපියල් 185කි.සබන් කැටය හතරට කපා හතර වාරයක් ප්‍රයෝජනයට ගන්නා තත්වයක් උද්ගතවී ඇත.
මිනිසුන්ගේ හෙට දවසක් පවත්වා ගන්නේ කෙසේදැයි කියා සිතන්නට නොහැකි තත්වයක් උදාවී ඇත.මිනිසුන්ගේ කෑම බීම අවශ්‍යතා සපුරා ගන්නට ඉඩ කඩම් විකුණමින් මේ වන විට ජීවත්ව න්නට වෙරදරති.මිනිසුන්ගේ මානසික ආතතිය ඇතිවන්නට පටන් ගති.මානසික පීඩනයට පත් වීම නිසා වාහන අනතුරුද බහුල වී ඇත.
කිසිම පිහිටක් සරණක් නැති ඉතා අසරණ තත්වයට පත් වී ඇති මිනිසුන් බොහෝය.
මේ සදහා ඔබේ කාලය මිඩංගු කර ගෙන මෙය කියවීම වෙනුවෙන් ඔබට ස්තූති වන්ත වෙමු.

දුෂ්කර ප්‍රදේශවලට ජල ප්‍රශ්නය උග්‍ර වී ඇත.වතුර ගෙනෙන බවුසරයෙන් ලීටරයකට රුපියල් 4ක් ගෙවා වතුර මිලට ගැනීමට සිදුවී ඇති බැවින් උග්‍ර ජල හිඟයකටද මුහුන දී ඇත. පන්සලට දෙන දානයද නවතා ඇත.සමහර දිනවලදී මඤ්ඤොක්කා අලයක්, රොටියක් දානය සඳහා පිළියෙල කර පූජා කලද දන් ඒකත් නතර වී ඇත. පැල්පත්වල අසරණ වී ඇති පවුල් එමටය.සබන් කැටය රුපියල් 185කි.සබන් කැටය හතරට කපා හතර වාරයක් ප්‍රයෝජනයට ගන්නා තත්වයක් උද්ගතවී ඇත.
මිනිසුන්ගේ හෙට දවසක් පවත්වා ගන්නේ කෙසේදැයි කියා සිතන්නට නොහැකි තත්වයක් උදාවී ඇත.මිනිසුන්ගේ කෑම බීම අවශ්‍යතා සපුරා ගන්නට ඉඩ කඩම් විකුණමින් මේ වන විට ජීවත්ව න්නට වෙරදරති.මිනිසුන්ගේ මානසික ආතතිය ඇතිවන්නට පටන් ගති.මානසික පීඩනයට පත් වීම නිසා වාහන අනතුරුද බහුල වී ඇත.
කිසිම පිහිටක් සරණක් නැති ඉතා අසරණ තත්වයට පත් වී ඇති මිනිසුන් බොහෝය.
මේ සදහා ඔබේ කාලය මිඩංගු කර ගෙන මෙය කියවීම වෙනුවෙන් ඔබට ස්තූති වන්ත වෙමු.
In certain areas there is a severe shortage of water, and they
must buy water at Rs 4/- per litre. Priests at the temple are
starving. People cut one piece of soap to four for parted use.
People don’t know how to face the next day. People sell all what
they have in order to survive. People suffer from depression,
and this has led to the increase in road accidents. If some
programs can be undertaken to provide necessary medicine at
least for concerned patients, many lives can be saved. Not even
a paracetamol is available for the needy people.
There is a severe shortage of food in government hospitals. Even in the children‘s hospitals there are many shortages. Even in the religious places it is impossible to provide alms.
In children’s home ,elders’ home and in deaf, blind schools not only food and medicine even other essentials like bedsheets, towels , sanitary items like soap , washing powder , toothpaste , underclothes are in very short supply. Children studying using brail system is also suffering.
Day by day this pathetic situation is increasing, and it is heartrending, and no one knows what to do about. People are sometime forced to snatch the food to satisfy their hunger.

එම දැක්මට අනුව මෙම ආයතනය ශ්‍රී ලංකාව ඉලක්ක කරගනිමින්ද ව්‍යාපෘතියක් දියත් කර ඇත. එම ව්‍යාපෘතිය ශ්‍රී ලාංකික ජනතාව දැනට මුහුණ පාන මානුෂීය අර්බුදයට සාර්ථකව මුහුණ දීමට අවශ්‍ය බොහෝදෑ සැපයීම කෙරෙහි අවධානය යොමු කෙරෙන ව්‍යාපෘතියකි.
