Online Mental Health Support
Global Humanitarian Aid Foundation (GHAF) provides free online mental health support to adults, adolescents, and children. We provide our services to individuals who are experiencing psychological issues or those medically diagnosed with mental health disorders. At zero cost, people of all ages from all walks of life, especially those who do not have the access or means to pay for proper healthcare, can get dedicated mental health support services from us here at GHAF. With us, individuals with mental health issues can get counselling as well as access to support groups and treatment programs to help with therapies and management. From children with behavioural and emotional disorders to adolescents with suicidal tendencies or eating disorders, even adults with schizophrenia or psychosis, GHAF is here to help.
Our goal is to help improve the mental well-being of people who are vulnerable and more prone to self-harm by placing a stronger focus on harm minimisation, early intervention, and prevention. To achieve our goal and the best results, we have gathered a dedicated multi-disciplinary team of fully qualified, highly skilled, and vastly experienced professionals. From our general practitioners and nurses to our mental health, alcohol, and drug specialists to our welfare workers and complimentary therapists, we are more than capable of helping people suffering from psychological issues. With our team sharing a passion for social inclusion, justice, equality, and community understanding, GHAF offers a person-centred and specialised yet well-rounded approach to help with the treatment and management of mental health issues.

Looking Beyond Mental Health Disorders
Through GHAFโs provision of free access to mental health support services, we focus on the social determinants of mental health to look beyond disorder, illness, or disease in order for us to see the whole person. Our services aim at getting to the core of complex challenges to help people suffering from mental health issues transition out of situations of disadvantage with empowering and sustainable solutions tailored to individual needs. Whether an individualโs mental health issues are caused or aggravated by poverty, unemployment, bankruptcy, domestic violence, neglect, abandonment, disability, illness, persecution, discrimination, harassment, natural disaster, or accident, GHAF can help people overcome these challenges. By providing individuals the means to conquer adversity, we can help them live happier, safer, healthier, fuller, and more meaningful lives.
We here at GHAF respect, uphold, and protect the rights of all individuals regardless of the state of their mental health. We strongly believe that everyone has the fundamental rights to life, food, shelter, health, education, and freedom of choice. At the same time, all individuals dealing with psychological issues have the right to access the best available mental healthcare services. All people with mental illnesses have the right to be treated with humanity and respect as well as the right to protection from physical, emotional, psychological, economic, or other types of abuse or mistreatment. Likewise, all people who are being treated with mental health issues have the right to social inclusion and community participation. GHAF recognises, advocates, and defends all these rights and endeavours to provide individuals with the best support they require to meet all their needs no matter what they may be.
