Physical Health Support Services

Global Humanitarian Aid Foundation (GHAF) offers free physical health support services to people of all ages from all walks of life. Our services are available for individuals who are experiencing common acute and chronic medical conditions as well as those needing help with improving and maintaining healthy organ and body system functions. Completely free of charge, adults, adolescents, and children, particularly those who are unable to access or pay for appropriate healthcare, can have dedicated physical health support services from our team here at GHAF. We provide consultations and routine examinations, treatment of common medical conditions, referrals to medical professionals and facilities, and other medical services for urgent and specialist treatment. From children with the common cold or flu-like symptoms to adolescents dealing with obesity or sleeping problems, to adults with diabetes or substance abuse, people can rely on GHAF for physical health support.

We aim to help enhance the physical well-being of people in vulnerable groups and those who have higher chances of self-harm by putting a greater focus on harm minimisation, early intervention, and prevention. In order to fulfill our aim and achieve the ideal outcomes, GHAF has put together a dedicated multi-disciplinary team of highly qualified, skilled, and experienced professionals. Whether it is our general practitioners and nurses or our alcohol, drug, and mental health specialists or our welfare workers and complimentary therapists, we have the capability to help individuals detect, treat, and manage a wide range of physical conditions. Here at GHAF, individuals can be assured of getting a person-centred and specialised yet a well-rounded approach to the treatment and management of physical issues because our team is passionate about social inclusion, justice, equality, and community understanding.

Looking Beyond Physical Health Conditions

Through the free access to physical health support services that our team here at GHAF provides, we look beyond physical health conditions to see the person as a whole by focusing on social determinants. One of the main goals of our services is to explore deeper into the heart of the complicated adversities faced by people with physical health issues. We do this to help them rise above circumstances of disadvantage by providing them with sustainable and empowering solutions customised to suit their needs. Whether a personโ€™s physical health issues are caused or worsened by poverty, unemployment, bankruptcy, domestic violence, neglect, abandonment, disability, persecution, discrimination, harassment, natural disaster, or accident, GHAF can help individuals conquer these adversities. By providing ways for people to overcome challenges, our team can help them live happier, safer, healthier, fuller, and more meaningful lives.

GHAF respects, upholds, and protects the rights of all people no matter their physical state or ability. Our team strongly believes that everyone has the fundamental rights to life, food, shelter health, education, and freedom of choice. Likewise, all people dealing with medical conditions or physical issues have the right to have the best available healthcare services. All adults, children, and adolescents with physical health conditions have the right to be treated with humanity and respect as well as the right to protection from physical, emotional, psychological, economic, or other types of abuse or mistreatment. At the same time, all people who are being treated with medical conditions or physical issues have the right to social inclusion and community participation. Here at GHAF, we recognise, advocate, and defend all these rights through our provision of free access to physical health services with the best professionals, environments, and circumstances to suit a personโ€™s needs.
